Jonnro Erasmus

Jonnro Erasmus is a forerunner in the use of requirements analysis and functional models for enterprise and industry systems. He is a senior researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and a registered professional engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa. He has developed solutions and consulted clients across multiple industries, including manufacturing, energy, transportation and government.

Jonnro specializes in analysis and design of large, complex systems, to identify risks, dependencies and opportunities. He spent several years developing and implementing business processes at a major electricity utility, where he pioneered the development of process building blocks and how they are combined to deliver different products and services. He has also had the responsibility of managing interdependent risks between major construction projects of both public and private enterprises. Jonnro is currently the research coordinator for the Product Lifecycle Management research group of the Global University Alliance and is pursuing research into supply chain integration for his Ph.D.

Jonnro has presented at conferences, authored several papers and is an active participant in the International Council on Systems Engineering and the Association of Enterprise Architects. He is also a certified LEADing Practice EA eXpert and a certified TOGAF9 practitioner.
