Fatma Dandashi

Dr. Dandashi works at the MITRE Corporation which is a not-for-profit company that operates multiple federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs) where she applies knowledge and expertise in systems engineering, information technology, operational concepts, and enterprise modernization to address various sponsors’ critical needs. In this role, Dr. Dandashi supports DoD on standards development for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture-based analysis modeling languages (UML, SysML, BPMN) and frameworks (Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF [UPDM]). Dr. Dandashi is co-chair of the Analysis and Design Task Force (ADTF) at the Object Management Group (OMG).

Dr. Dandashi is an International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP). She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from GMU, a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana (Lafayette), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computers/Business Administration from the Lebanese American University.

Dr. Dandashi has presented at conferences and published numerous papers at INCOSE, SISO, ACM, and IEEE affiliated publications/conferences.
