Richard Fallon

Richard Fallon works as an independent consultant on SAP developments and BPM/BPR projects. Upon completing his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Digital Systems Engineering at Sunderland Polytechnic in 1987.

Richard has worked on the development of hardware and software solutions over a variety of industry sectors, including; R&D/nuclear industry (Rolls-Royce IRD), IT (UNISYS), credit card processing (First Data), telecommunications (A1) and pharmaceutical (Novartis) on assignment in France, USA, UK, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Austria and Switzerland.

In 2012 he completed a Master of Science in Technology Consulting at Sheffield Hallam University, which included completing his master thesis “Evaluating the extent to which REA can enhance ERP systems, using SAP as an exemplar”.

He is currently in the process of completing his PhD into Transaction Orientated Architecture (TOA) in Enterprise Systems where he sees the opportunity to convert the industrial experience and insights he has gained over the last 27 years into new theories and solutions for enterprise systems.
